Kristy + Dan, Maternity Photoshoot

I’ve been lucky enough to capture some of the biggest milestones for Kristy and Dan this past year—starting with their engagement session, then their gorgeous wedding, and now… their journey into parenthood! Honestly, watching their love grow and evolve has been such a joy.

Their maternity session was nothing short of magical. The golden sunlight, the serene Australian countryside, and the way these two just click—it all came together perfectly. These moments are why I believe EVERY couple should consider doing a maternity session.

Why You’ll Love Having a Maternity Session

It’s a Moment You’ll Want to Remember

Let’s be real—pregnancy flies by in a blur of baby kicks, nursery planning, and endless snacks (no judgment!). Taking the time to pause and capture this chapter ensures you’ll have something to look back on long after the chaos of parenthood begins.

It’s All About the Love

I loved watching Kristy and Dan together during their session—the way Dan kept sneaking glances at Kristy like she was the most amazing person on the planet (spoiler: she is) or how they laughed at their little inside jokes. Maternity shoots aren’t just about the baby bump; they’re about celebrating the connection between you and your partner.

You’ll Look and Feel Amazing

Let’s take a second to appreciate how stunning Kristy looked in her flowy dresses and relaxed fits. She was glowing (literally—golden hour is magical), and she rocked every shot. Trust me, you don’t need to worry about “what to wear” or “how to pose” because it’s all about capturing your natural beauty and emotions.

The Memories Last Forever

One day, your little one will be flipping through these photos, and you’ll get to tell them about this special time—when they were still a little bundle of kicks and hiccups, and you were so excited to meet them. It’s more than just photos; it’s part of your family history.

Behind the Scenes of Kristy & Dan’s Shoot

We headed out to a beautiful, sunlit field at golden hour (my favorite time to shoot!), and it was pure magic. Kristy’s white dress looked so dreamy blowing in the breeze, and Dan kept things chill with his casual vibe—it was the perfect balance.

We spent the session laughing, walking through the trees, and just soaking in the moment. It felt effortless because these two were so comfortable in front of the camera (thanks to all the previous shoots we’ve done!). By the end, I couldn’t stop grinning while looking through the shots—every single one felt so them.

There’s just something so special about this stage of life. You’re on the cusp of something HUGE, and it’s exciting, nerve-wracking, and beautiful all at once. My goal is to make your session relaxed, fun, and authentically you. No stiff poses, no forced smiles—just you and your partner (and your bump!) soaking it all in.

If you’ve been wondering whether a maternity shoot is worth it, here’s your sign: DO IT. Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, every journey into parenthood deserves to be celebrated.

If you’re thinking about booking a maternity session (or any other milestone!), I’d love to help tell your story. Let’s chat and make some magic together.
