Hey, I’m Peta!

I’m that mum who wanted to capture photographs of her children growing up…fast forward a few years and here we are, I’m the Peta in Captured by Peta - here to photograph your milestones as memories forever.

A Bendigo girl born and bred, mother of two, gym addict, horse rider and your local photographer Peta. Always looking for the next adventure and consistently improving every aspect of my life.

As an bit of a creator and go-getter, my life looks different than most but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I balance out all the work with lots of horse riding, time with the girls where I'm working seriously hard to keep the phone away from me and limiting unnecessary time on social media! * its a trap!

When I’m old and grey, I don’t want to think about what could’ve, should’ve, or would’ve been. I want to reflect on the “good ol’ days” without regret, knowing I did what made me happy.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Being a photographer has given me the opportunity to bring joy not only to myself, but to others, and for that, I’m happy. I’m no fortune teller, but I think my future self will be pretty pleased, too!

I pride myself in providing the kind of one-on-one service that leaves each and every one of my clients feeling as if they’ve found a new family friend rather then standing in front of me awkwardly.
