Latter Family’s Bump to Baby Journey

I'm stoked to share with you the awesome story of the Latter family – a journey that I've had the absolute pleasure of capturing from the get-go. As a photographer based in beautiful Bendigo, Australia, it's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do. I get to be a part of a family by documenting their milestone moments.

Let me introduce you to the stars of our story: Laura and Mike, along with their two little legends, Gus and Billy. From the excitement of Laura's growing bump after learning they were expecting baby number 2, to the sheer joy of welcoming little Billy into the world, theirs is a tale of love, laughter, and the conquering being parents of 2 boys!

Our journey kicks off with Laura, who is a bit of a pregnancy unicorn. Honestly. The girl looks amazing with a bump! We ventured into their backyard to snap some shots, capturing the magic of this special time.

As Billy settled into his new digs, I had a blast documenting the beautiful bond that began to blossom between him and his big bro, Gus. From cuddles on the couch to precious moments in their cozy room, it was heartwarming to see the love and affection that Gus showered upon his baby brother. * note this might also have been a lot of running around and jumping all over the bed but thats what happens when your a excitable toddler!*

Throughout it all, my goal as their trusty photographer was simple – to capture the moments that matter most. Whether it was the tender looks between Laura and Mike, the cheeky grin on Gus's face, or the peaceful slumber of newborn Billy, I aimed to freeze these fleeting moments in time, allowing the Latter family to relive them again and again which I'm dead certain that on the harder days being a mum Laura is going to glance down at the lock screen on her phone and smile, being reminded that her little cherubs probably just need a snack or a nap and they'll stop being a rugrat haha.

And as their story continues to unfold, I'm excited to keep documenting the Latter family's journey – from milestone moments to everyday adventures. It's an absolute honor to be entrusted with capturing their memories, and being their friend. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this rad crew!
