5 Things To Bring To Your Session
Today, we're taking a look at some of the less-obvious items that you may not consider bringing to a photo shoot. Some are tiny things, others are big - all of them will help to make any photography shoot go far smoother!
1. Any personal appearance touchup items you might want, including things like lippy or a hairbrush. Dont be opposed to having flyaways in your pics, tousled hair is sexy remember?!
Let me tuck away random bits as I see them appear and not work for the image.
Throw on a trendy wide- brimmed hat for a totally new look, classic watch, statement ring or hoop earrings can add to completing your look and will photograph amazing!
Pop these into a bag, and let me know what you have bought along when we get together so I can think about how to include these during our time together.
2. Have a think before the session if you want to include heirloom items, a special stuffed animal, an embroidered keepsake, etc. Some families know they want a very specific type of photograph taken. If you have these preferences, be sure to brainstorm them in advance and let me know as well!
3. Dont forget the snacks, and if necessary a special treat to bribe the kids with! ( dont tell them about the treats before the session; wait until they start getting a bit tired before you pull out that carb! They’ll usually perk right up at that stage.)
Just be mindful it isn’t something that will stain their lips or fingers.
4. Make sure the shoes you pick allow you to walk. Sometimes we go off the beaten path!
5. A beer for hubby if it will help him loosen up, I’m totally in favour of it!
So, who’s feeling happier now? Are you ready to capture some amazing memories?
