Within the first 5minutes of meeting this family, I knew we were in for a fun session.
One that would require me to work fast, and be ready to move fast!

Meet Emily & Zac East, along with their boys Zephyr (2) and Knox ( almost 1.)
Knox is the wild one. He loves to dance to the rhythm of his own drum!
He hold his own and knows what he wants.
Zephyr also knows what he wants! Loves the trampoline and wrestling his younger brother I’m told.
Em said that its a family joke that Zephyr should enjoy being the strongest for the time being, because it won't be long before Knox really levels up!

This isn’t the first time that I’ve worked with Em in front of my camera, but each time she is with her children there is always a discussion around how having babies this little is the best time of our lives, and at the same time probably the hardest.
They are so dependent on us, but being this little doesn’t last forever!

Em reminded me that its so important to take time to soak it all in, their little faces, even when they're pulling at your leg to be picked up or crying out for mum.
Even though it can be draining, it's also such an amazing thing to be ‘their person.’
To be their safe place and their home.

A special part of this session was including Rod & Ruth, Zacs parents in a few pictures with the boys.
being their only grandsons, its easy to see how besotted they are with them!
