I recently had the pleasure of photographing the adorable Nathan, Zoie, and their sweet daughter Hallie at the beach in Torquay.

We kicked off the shoot with Hallie, who is just the cutest two-year-old you can imagine! She was full of giggles and energy, running around the beach and exploring every shell and pebble in sight. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and it set the tone for a relaxed and fun-filled session.

Nathan and Zoie were absolute naturals in front of the camera, effortlessly radiating love and happiness. It's always heartwarming to capture those genuine, candid moments where they play with Hallie, shower her with hugs and kisses, and chase her along the shoreline.

Hallie also recently celebrated her second birthday, so we made sure to incorporate some special shots to mark this milestone. She had the most adorable outfit. Watching her blow out imaginary candles and clap her hands with delight was simply precious.

Nathan, Zoie, and Hallie's session reminded me once again of the importance of family and the joy of preserving these fleeting moments forever. in short + sweet sessions. We actually became friends after I photographed a family session just after Hallie arrived, which then led to me joining them on their Byron Bay elopement. That was over 6 months ago and we turned a photoshoot into the perfect excuse for a weekend away at the beach sharing a cabin at the local caravan park.
