A moody boho wedding at Harcourt Valley Vineyard
Jess and Luke got married at Harcourt Valley Vineyard on New Years day, 2021.
Their wedding was my first time shooting there ever, and let me just say - I FREAKING LOVED IT! This venue was built to be photographed, and you can totally tell by the way they put it together that they are experienced in the wedding world and knew exactly what couples AND photographers would want in a venue.
Their wedding day started off with the girls getting ready at a renovated church nearby, and the guys at the venue.
This is one of my favourite parts of the day - and having their two kids Abby & Jack running around made it even more fun.
A short and relaxed outdoor ceremony in the open grassy area of the venue, and a fun celebrant meant we were soon swinging into family portraits and some time solo with just the bridal party. Whilst getting beautiful pics to remember their day was important, more so was enjoying the day with their friends and family so we kept things short + sweet.
What I loved most about these guys were that they spent time planning their wedding to be exactly how they wanted it and incorporated so many of their favorite things, and it was just so “THEM!”
They danced the night away, and I went home at the end of the day LOVING my job even more.
